Our Core Values describe who we are, how we treat one another and the way we conduct ourselves -- both in the company and in the community.  The values of each one of our employees, along with their unique customer centric perspective, form the Dowless & Associates corporate culture and while our corporate goals and strategies may evolve to meet changing circumstances, our Core Values will remain constant.  Our core values are listed below and provide the foundation for working and thriving in our organization.  Each year, deserving members of the Dowless & Associates family are nominated by their peers for demonstrated achievement in one of the core values.

Supporting Our Community

 Over the past eleven years, Dowless & Associates has supported a variety of community organizations.  This support includes those community services that our employees give their time and energies to, and we, in turn support their efforts. They include the following:
  • Boys and Girls Clubs – Annandale
  • VA Elite 16U Girls – Basketball Trophy
  • Herndon Optimist Youth Football
  • Shenandoah County Parks & Recreation – Women’s Softball
  • Helping Children Worldwide – Charity Golf Tournament – In support of the Child Rescue Center in Bo, Sierra Leone
  • Connections for Hope, Herndon, VA – supporting a number of non-profits in the community including a free clinic, financial counseling, immigration help, ESL classes, child tutoring, and other Fairfax County services
  • Susan G Komen – Race for the Cure
  • Susan G Komen - 3-Day for the Cure
  • Polar Bear Plunge –Special Olympics, Maryland
In addition to monetarily supporting those organizations, we are proud to have a number of employees who volunteer in a variety of community services including Katrina Relief Support, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of the USA, Boys and Girls Clubs, Loudoun Interfaith Relief, Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department, local counties’ Youth Sports teams, and Feline Foundation of Greater Washington.
